The
Narco Avionics Inc. Factory Service Certified Repair Station No. DV1R100K does
not perform any inspections for certificate holders conducting operations under
FAR Part 125 nor does it perform any line maintenance, as per FAR 145.205 (b)
and (d) respectively.
Air
carriers or commercial operators that have a continuous airworthiness
maintenance program (CAMP) under FAR Part 121 or Part 135 must indicate on the
paperwork provided with the article that is sent for maintenance, preventive
maintenance, or alterations, whether the work to be performed shall be
conducted under the air carrier's or commercial operator's program and
applicable sections of its maintenance manual, or under the Narco Avionics
Factory Service Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals. If the air carrier or commercial operator
chooses to have their program and manual followed then no maintenance,
preventive maintenance, or alterations shall be performed and no article shall
be released for return to service until a copy of their program and manual is
received and complied with, as per FAR 145.205. Additionally, the choice to follow the CAMP shall be documented
on the Work Order Form 678 in block #19 labeled “Complaint/Instructions”;
otherwise, no other indication shall be made, and Narco’s RSM & QCM will be
followed.
Foreign
air carriers or foreign persons operating an U.S.-registered aircraft under FAR
Part 129 must indicate on the paperwork provided with the article that is sent
for maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations, whether the work to be
performed shall be conducted under the operator's FAA-approved maintenance
program or under the Narco Avionics Factory Service Repair Station and Quality
Control Manuals. If the foreign air
carrier or foreign person chooses to have their maintenance program followed
then no maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations shall be performed
and no article shall be released for return to service until a copy of their
maintenance program is received and complied with, as per FAR 145.205. Additionally, the choice to follow the FAA
approved maintenance program shall be documented on the Work Order Form 678 in
block #19 labeled “Complaint/Instructions”; otherwise, no other indication
shall be made, and Narco’s RSM & QCM will be followed
Additionally,
Part 121, 129, and 135 operators shall provide their individual operator
training requirements (initial, recurrent, or specialized) identified for each
job function. The Factory Service Manager will work with each operator to
schedule Narco Avionics employees for operator training, as determined during
the individual’s Needs Assessment
